Flow Clinical Psychology is based in North Wales and offers high quality clinical psychology, somatic and yoga therapy services for adults online.

Our aim is to provide an integrated Mind-Body approach to difficulties that you may be experiencing with the goal of facilitating more flow within your daily life.

We offer specialist expertise in supporting adults with a range of chronic health conditions, psychological trauma, stress and wellbeing at work.

We are committed to offering professional, effective, flexible, and integrative approaches to a person’s difficulties, based on collaboration.

Dr Jo Ablett is trained to high standards and engages in continuous professional development. She maintains strong professional standards of conduct, ethics and proficiency and is regulated by the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) with an enhanced DBS clearance.

Online services are offered Nationally and Internationally where applicable.

A New Post…

So, the time has come to say goodbye to a fantastic team at The Intestinal Failure Unit and Gastro Psychology at Salford Royal Hospital and take on a new challenge as Head of Psychology at St Helen’s & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust…

I was so fortunate to have found Charlotte. She has a very compassionate and warm approach which was invaluable. I came into therapy with so much anxiety, but am now leaving it with a sense of calm and vitality. For the first time in ages I feel like me again. I was particularly impressed by how powerful and effective the EMDR therapy was and I would most definitely recommend Flow Psychology and Charlotte to others.

Dr Ablett spent 8 years as the lead psychologist on a multidisciplinary team in a national referral intestinal failure centre and provided excellent, caring and considered psychology support to some of the most vulnerable patients living with chronic gastro-intestinal disease. She was the first Consultant Psychologist in the U.K. in this field and pioneered a number of innovative developments to improve patient care. Her expertise was reflected by a number of national and international lectures alongside peer-reviewed publications.
